Every day airports across the UK have people from different places around the world passing through, which inevitably comes with risks. Over the past decade airports have enhanced technology to filter people who could have the potential to cause harm, meaning criminals are making it difficult to trace them.

Across Ireland, thousands of people each day pass through from all over the world, which has a direct impact on the risks. Over the past 10 years all airports have developed and upgraded their technology and security systems to further ensure the safety of its staff, passengers, premises and the country it is based. This has filtered and diluted the number of ways that criminals can cause harm. All our aviation security teams have completed intense training to ensure that have the knowledge and experience to deal with any suspicious activity or incident.

Our security teams’ size is ultimately dependant on the size and foot flow of the airport, the bigger the airport the larger the team. Not all of this team will be seen by the public, we can offer CCTV operatives to monitor the cameras with uniformed and non-uniformed security personnel to both act as a visual deterrent but also to highlight and adapt to any situation that occurs.

Our Security teams can also fulfil additional roles such as passenger assistance and deal with any possible situations that may occur. Such as, we all know that even the shortest flight can cause frustrations and issues which can result in dissatisfied customer. When these issues occur our security personnel will be on hand to deal with and deescalate the situation further, enhancing the safety of the airport staff and to hopefully deal with the issue and reassure the passengers.
